How

Joongel is a search service with a collection of websites into various categories. There are 23 categories and each category has 10 websites which are the best in the category. So you have a total of 230 websites that can be searched at your click. So head on to Joongel and get great search results from over 200 websites in a single click.

Also one can add Joongel Plugin to IE or Firefox Search Bar. It requires no additional download or installation.

Camouflage web with Vanishd

So you want to browse websites which your employer doesn’t want you to be on, or you wanna watch a video on youtube or fill another job application or do online shopping but fear people around you or your boss might catch you? Then Vanish is for you.

What

Vanishd is a web service which camouflages or hides the website you are on with websites like google or even word or excel documents so that it seems you are working thus allowing you to surf the web privately when you are in office, at friend’s place or in a public space.

How

Head on to www.vanishd.com and register. In your account launch vanishd and voila you are on your way to private browsing publicly. The webpage you are browsing is covered by another webpage. Moving the mouse of the browser hides the underlying webpage which you are interested in. 

Also the size, shape and position of viewing area can be changed and also locked according to user needs.

A lock appears in the lower right corner which when clicked will freeze the viewing area so that it doesn’t auto hide. So features like password protection and stealth mode are available only in paid version.

Why

Pros: Allows easy Camouflaging, really useful at work or public places.

Cons: Web history is still saved about websites visited, doesn’t support websites like gmail and yahoo mail maybe because of cookies issue, Vanishd button appears in free version.
